In short
The frameDock website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and it does not build a profile of you. It only stores what it needs to work and to remember your choice below. If we ever add optional analytics or media, they will stay off until you accept them.
What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work the same way for this purpose. We refer to all of them as “cookies”.
Essential storage (always on)
These are needed for the site to work or are requested by you, so they do not need consent (ePrivacy art. 5(3) exemption; LGPD art. 7).
framedock-consent (local storage): remembers your cookie choice, the date you made it and the policy version. Kept for 12 months, then we ask again.
framedock-setup-guide (local storage): remembers your progress in the setup guide on this device if you use it. It never leaves your browser. Clear it in your browser settings at any time.
Account service session cookies: when you sign in at account.framedock.app, the service sets secure, HttpOnly cookies to keep you signed in and protect against fraud. They are removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
Payment: only if you open the payment page and continue to pay, the Paddle checkout script loads from cdn.paddle.com. Paddle may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. They are necessary for the payment you request and are governed by Paddle’s privacy notice.
Optional storage (off by default)
Currently none. The site loads no analytics, advertising, social-media or embedded third-party media. If we add any, the cookie banner will list it by category and purpose, it will stay off until you choose to accept, and rejecting it will be as easy as accepting.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to open the banner again and change your choice. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the site will then ask again. Blocking essential storage may stop the setup guide from saving progress, but does not stop you from using the site.
Legal framework
We follow the LGPD (Brazil), the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR (EU), UK PECR and UK GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. We do not use “dark patterns”: Accept and Reject are equally prominent, and the site works fully if you reject. Our general privacy practices are in the Privacy policy.
